Melissa is an award winning filmmaker and producer with over 20 years hands on experience in the film industry. She’s the proud producer for the award winning, critically acclaimed feature film The Vast of Night as well as the award winning film Accidental Texan starring Rudy Pankow, Thomas Haden Church, Carrie-Anne Moss and Bruce Dern. Other titles include ESPN’s feature documentary series 30 for 30 for What Carter Lost, Dolph Lundgren’s 2021 feature release, Castle Falls and And on the 8th Day starring Phoebe Tonkin, Darren Mann, and Mustafa Speaks
Her grant supported documentary short You are Me & I am You about an indigenous midwife and healer in Ecuador that she directed and produced is finishing up it’s world wide award winning festival run. It will be available online for streaming soon.
