I started my career working as a DP for three seasons for the Travel Channel’s Travelview Program. I have worked as a Field Producer for Michael Moore’s TV Nation, been a celebrity interviewer for Entertainment Tonight, produced on Discovery Channel’s Investigation Discovery and the Learning Channel’s “How They Do That.” I have directed dozens of national commercials for brands including but not limited to Uniroyal Tires, Long John Silvers, Rent-A-Center, American Lung Association and ESPN. I am a Fifth Generation Mexican/Spanish descendant. I was raised thirty minutes from the Texas and Mexico border, where we grew up crossing the, then open border, and enjoying the experience of living in a bi-cultural environment.
My “American Experience” has always been one of two countries and two cultures. I have been a world traveler and have filmed in over 25 different countries. Today, I call Austin, Texas my home. From there, I travel on various Director for hire assignments for Production Company’s and Advertising Agencies. I also manage my two companies, a Production Company, Rio Films and an Equipment Rental House, Citrus Digital. Currently, I am also focused on writing and developing my current feature film project entitled “Masa” and my episodic series entitled “Strawberry’s In Texas.”
